Still a two material skirt, bringing the benefits of having the correct material in the right location, the PMX4 pattern is cleverly shaped to utilise all the material for both parts of the segment. Sewing the PMX4 toghter is more advanced than the others, but readily done on a domestic machine. Unlike all the other segments, one seam requires sewing a straight edge to a curved edge.

The PMX4 is interchangeable with all other PMX skirts.
