If you take your time, use a fairly stiff\u00a0 epoxy\/microballoon\u00a0 mix, the joins can be filled with an old credit card bent into a radius and you will have little or no spillage to clean up. I used a 100mm FG tape on the inside hull edge strip.\u00a0 This made skinning the main hull easy. The hull was then layered inside with CSM past the skirt attachment holes and then FG cloth matt all over. I made the tool shown for pressing the matt through the resin with allthread or they can be purchased. They do a really good job off smoothing out the matt.\u00a0 When doing the inside skin\u00a0 make sure to wrap the matt through the airfeed holes.\u00a0 This involved cutting the material into small tags and rounding it through. Bugger of a job but its worth the effort to get a nice smooth air hole.
