At first I fitted the mounting flanges to the duct while it was on the bench. This proved to be the wrong approach as I had all sorts of bother trying to line the duct on the isolation rubbers and get the correct height. So the flange was cut back off and I\u00a0 then mounted it on the rubbers and bolted it to the hull. This approach took care of the slope in the hull and any other differences in the deck level.\u00a0 The duct was then offered back up to the hull and the center height and the alignment of the duct locked in.\u00a0 The joint was then refilled with resin and QCells and glassed over.
