The 225 Wedge was the craft that Owen Ellis and I developed back in 1984. It ias a plan\/kit craft based around the Robin EC44 twin cylinder 2 stroke engine that was around at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Part of our thinking was that the builder would be best person to maintain a hovercraft – they would literally know it inside out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a video of an inspection of Paul Mott’s craft. He is one of the early builders of the Wedge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our idea worked out. Paul has run and maintained his 225 Wedge for 34 years now – it’s still one of the fastest craft around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
