The Paul Moody Racer 1. Or the PMR1 is an Australian first race craft.
After being asked by the World Hovercraft Organisation to hold an event here in Australia, serious thought was put in as how we, Australia might compete. Having limited race ready members in the Australian Hovercraft Association won’t stop us having a crack.
Mr Paul Moody has adapted the 25hp renegade hovercraft with many modifications to come up with the 37hp PMR1. This promises to be a special hovercraft from the get go. New skirt design, new hull dynamics. Rear fan drive, reliable 4 stroke engine 1000cc. V twin.
We are now 5 months into the build. We were planning a rally reveal but everyone needs some cheering up. Hovercraft have to be the best way to do that. Ill post daily like the Prime Minister. Heaps of pictures and stories. Mr accurate vs Mr lets get this done. You pick who’s who.
