Trevors build 5

The underside of the hull has now been fully skinned. I have now turned the hull over and have fitted the inside hull edge strip. A couple of simple jigs keep it all in line and the strips vertical. Al the inside joins now need to be filled so we can skin the inside.

    Great progress!

How did you find glassing such a large area for the first time?

Hey Paul .I found glassing the underside surprisingly easy. I made sure I had everything ready and at hand, picked a nice mild day and went for it. I used super slow cure resin, had lines on the hull and had a helper to drop the cloth on. Very happy !
