Description

PMX3 was derived from the PMX2 by Owen Ellis. He wanted a more rounded segment look, much like the original Turbo Hovercraft segment, now the PMX1.

It is a two material skirt, it has good layout efficiency and leaves few offcuts. A two material skirt is the optimum form of skirt. Expensive material with high abrasion resistance is only used in the area of the skirt near contact with the surface. The remainder of the skirt is made from cheap lightweight material.

The instructions include details on how to replace the wear panel.

All the PMX skirts are interchangeable.

The PDF contains full size drawings with dimensions for each of the panels plus the anti-scoop flap for the rear segments.
