PMX5 Adapted Panel Extended Segment

A really well tailored segment skirt really sets the look of a sport hovercraft; and the pattern of the upper part of the is the key.

Two material skirts are a challenge to create an aesthetic shape especially when we strive for good economy of material use. The PMX3, Owen Ellis’ adaptation of the PMX2 design, was Owen’s approach to create a more rounded shape, more like the original PMX1 segment.

The PMX5 segment has been created with this in mind. The top face tapers in to the outer attachment tongue and the wear panel is trapezium shaped to ensure the wear panel is in the correct location to match all the PMX profile.

All PMX skirts are interchangeable.
