Hi there.I thought I’d start this blog with a short lead up to my decision to build the PMR1. In my younger years I raced speedboats and then as the kids came along we graduated to small yachts and sailboards.I was always interested in Hovercraft and after my recent retirement decided to build one. After much internet browsing I joined the A.H.A. for some guidance. Some overseas designs were looked at but I settled on Paul’s with his online support being the clincher…….So with the plans downloaded and printed I wait for my sheets to arrive. In the meanwhile I printed of the plans in A4 and cut all the parts out on plastic packing sheet. This has given me a great start to where all the bits go and I would recommend it for any first time builder. See some of the attached photos for the result.
